I have many goals that will hopefully lead me to the benefits that I want, although today I am only going to tell you about the benefits that I have that pertain to track. I believe that it is important for everyone to have goals. They give you a sense of direction which can help you to stay on whatever path that you choose. I once heard that "A goal is only a dream unless you write it down". Ever since then I have made sure to commit my goals to paper, so that I have something physical to see daily. Below is the list of the benefits or outcomes that I want from my goals for the upcoming year:


1. Win Indoor and Outdoor National Team Championship
2. Be Indoor Champ in the 60m, 200m*, 400m and 4x4 relay (maybe)
3. Be athlete of the week every week of the indoor and outdoor season for my conference
4. Break school records in the 60m, 200m*, 400m (indoor) 100m, 200m*, 400m (outdoor)
5. Be athlete of the meet at indoor and outdoor nationals
6. Be athlete of the year for track at my school.
7. Be athlete of the week for NAIA
8. Qualify for the A standard of the Olympic Trials in the 200m*(23.10)


Next are the times that I want run this year:


Indoor
60m = 7.40 200m* = 23.4 400m = 54.0


Outdoor
100m = 11.3 200m* = 23.0 400m = 53.3
